11:06 PM; Removal of Door Panel
Hi all.

Not anything major, but just in case anyone wants to remove the door panel for any DIY, like wat i did for my side LEDS. Those who can to DIY soundproofing will also need to know.

The door panels are basically snapped on to the metal door frame with plastic plugs, and secured with 3 screws in total for each door. Location of the screws are shown here.

Basically the location of the screws are similar for both front and back. One at the door knob, one at the handle and one at the side.

Firstly u need to pry open the cover, then u can unscrew

After unscrewing, what i do is i slowly pry the door panel out from the bottom.

As we mentioned before, the car is like LEGO. Just to take note, after u pry out the panel, there will be some wires attached to it. The door knob and lock is attached via a small brake cable like attachment, you will need to un-hook it from the panel. Also, the power window cables are attached. Make sure u remove them before pulling out the whole panel from the metal door frame
